The Interstate 5 in San Diego, abbreviated "i-5 San Diego",  is the main north-south interstate highway route across the metro San Diego area.

Sections of the i-5 in San Diego are also called/known as the "San Diego Freeway", and the "John J Montgomery Freeway".
